iKKO, a company better known for its audio products, has entered the smartphone market with the Mind One Pro, a credit card-sized Android device with AI features and a unique square design. The project has already pulled in serious crowdfunding numbers on Kickstarter, raising over $1.2 million in funding.

At just 86 × 72 × 8.9 mm, the Mind One Pro feels like a modern Razr stub, but with a 4.02-inch square AMOLED display layered in scratch-resistant sapphire glass. Powering the device is MediaTek’s modest but efficient MT8781 4G+ chipset, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and backed by a 2,200 mAh battery that supports all-day use or up to 16 hours of video playback under testing conditions.

Standout features of this credit card-sized smartphone:

A 50-MP Sony sensor with OIS that flips 180°, doubling as both rear and front camera. Connectivity is quirky yet clever: a vSIM “NovaLink” offers free AI-specific internet in over 60 countries, while paid vSIM top-ups extend full data coverage to more than 140 nations. A traditional nano-SIM slot handles standard 4G+ roaming.

Software-wise, it runs Android 15 alongside an iKKO AI OS overlay, thinking of a dual-boot lite. AI tools include real-time translation, transcription, summarisation, note-taking, and even podcast generation, all with no subscription fees and no data harvesting (claims).

Multi Colour MindOne Snap-in Case

Need tactile flair? Additionally, the company provides the MindOne Snap-in, an optional snap-on QWERTY keyboard case (multi-colour), an accessory that is designed specifically for the iKKO Mind One smartphone, adding both functionality and performance in a compact form.

It serves as a snap-on keyboard case that attaches magnetically to the phone, offering a QWERTY keyboard for easier typing, a Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC with a 3.5mm audio jack for high-quality wired audio, and a built-in 500mAh battery to extend usage time.

Within this month, we have written a lot on smartphones, including the Google Pixel 10 Pro series, the OnePlus Nord CE5, the Nothing Phone 3, and many more. Compared to those smartphones, this iKKO MindOne Pro is really unique.

The iKKO Mind One Pro is currently available through its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, priced $399.00 for early birds, where it has already crossed the $1.2 million funding mark. You can purchase this smartphone from the official store for $429.00, and the Snap-in Case for $89.00 with a discount of $60 for early birds. They plan to begin shipping in October 2025, expect global availability to follow after the campaign deliveries, and include a 1-year warranty along with Kickstarter perks with each order.
