Waveshare has launched the MK10, a Stream Deck-like macro keyboard with ten hot-swappable mechanical keys with 0.85-inch LCD keycaps and a secondary 2.01-inch screen.

The device combines an Allwinner T113-S3 dual-core Cortex-A7 processor running Linux with a GD32 microcontroller handling QMK firmware for low-latency input. It supports AI voice control, real-time system and weather data integration, drag-and-drop theme editing, plugin downloads, and Home Assistant smart home integration. The MK10 also includes customizable macros, multi-command chaining, and mouse control, all natively handled in firmware.

In terms of build, the MK10 comes with an aluminum alloy top case, a 2.5D scratch-resistant acrylic lens, and two placement options (flat or angled). Connectivity is via USB-C, with an additional USB-A expansion port and optional 2.4 GHz WiFi through a USB dongle.

In terms of software support, the MK10 uses the ScreenKey software for Windows and macOS to configure macros, assign key functions, and preview them in real time. There’s also an option to import or export Profiles, and waveshare also provides themes and plugins through their online platform. It also works with LibreHardwareMonitor to display system stats, and for weather, it uses data from OpenWeather for weather data. In addition, the device supports voice interaction through XiaoZhi AI and can be linked to Home Assistant for smart home automation.
