AAEON has announced the Intelli i14 Edge, a small AI vision computer that is capable of providing high-performance computing in harsh and space-restricted conditions based on the 14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900T with 24 cores and 32 threads. The system is capable of managing parallel tasks and latency-sensitive tasks efficiently, thus suitable for demanding AI and industrial uses. When combined with NVIDIA RTX MXM modules, the system delivers up to 5,888 CUDA cores and 184 Tensor cores, enabling real-time AI processing capabilities for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), embedded workstations, and industrial automation solutions.

Intelli i14 Edge has a maximum memory of 32GB DDR5 SODIMM with a speed of 4800MT/s and ECC support, as well as two M.2 2280 NVMe storage slots. It connects through two Ethernet ports (2.5GbE and 1GbE) and features an M.2 2230 E-key wireless module. The sealed design, which meets the IEC EN60068-2-64 standards of vibration, makes it reliable in harsh conditions, and the range of operating temperatures between 0°C and 50 o C enables the deployment to a wide range of industrial applications.

The Intelli i14 Edge is an excellent platform with its powerful construction and the capabilities to perform real-time artificial intelligence to make decisions, thus suitable in smart manufacturing, autonomous systems, healthcare, transportation, defence, and industrial robots. Its small form factor fits into limited spaces without compromising performance, and its rugged design allows for operation in harsh conditions. This flexibility also contributes to the Intelli i14 Edge being a potent and consistent solution to the edge computing requirements of modern times.

This isn’t AAEON’s first attempt in this space, as the company has previously introduced products like the PICO-MTU4-SEMI, the BOXER-8741AI SBC, and the UP AI Development Kits, all of which we’ve covered before. So, you can explore them for your reference.

The Intelli i14 Edge supports Windows 10 IoT and comes with the UP Edge AI Toolkit, which bundles SDKs, drivers, and libraries for Intel, NVIDIA, and Hailo platforms. It enables easy runtime setup, model conversion, and performance benchmarking. AAEON also provides datasheets, manuals, BIOS updates, and drivers for development support.

AAEON has not yet announced the official prices for the Intelli i14 Edge, but you can already purchase it from the company’s official eShop. The developers can also give the platform a test, and AAEON is offering the UP Xtreme i14 Edge Computing Kit at a discounted rate of $1299 and is available in the UP Shop. The availability and price may be based on the location and specific installation; it is recommended to go to the official site of AAEON or to call them to have the latest and accurate information.
