Calixto i.MX93 VERSA SoM – NXP i.MX93 Module with Dual Cortex-A55, Cortex-M33, and NPU for Edge AI

Calixto Systems Pvt Ltd has recently introduced i.MX93 VERSA SoM, a i.MX93 powered energy-efficient System on Module (SoM) for Edge AI and industrial applications. It combines a 1.7GHz Dual Cortex-A55 CPU, a 250MHz Cortex-M33 real-time co-processor, and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for on-device AI and machine learning, delivering secure, reliable performance at the edge.

The module supports up to 2GB LPDDR4x RAM and 16GB eMMC storage, and features various interfaces, including dual Gigabit Ethernet, dual CAN-FD, 6x UART, 6x SPI, 6x I²C, and multiple display outputs like MIPI-DSI, CSI, LVDS, and 24-bit RGB. Additional features include EdgeLock secure enclave, RTC, JTAG, and extended temperature-grade reliability, making it suitable for industrial automation, robotics, vision systems, and intelligent gateways requiring robust, AI-capable embedded computing.

For multimedia and display, it provides MIPI-DSI, MIPI-CSI, and LVDS interfaces, along with RTC, JTAG, and debug UARTs, making it a complete platform for embedded system development.
