OnePlus has launched the Nord CE5, the newest addition to the Nord series in India, with a 7,100mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and a 120Hz AMOLED display. Powered by the Dimensity 8350 Apex, it ships with OxygenOS 15 and promises six years of software updates.
OnePlus Nord CE5 specifications
Display and Performance
The Nord CE5 sports a 6.77-inch (17.21 cm) AMOLED screen featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate, Ultra HDR, and Aqua Touch for reliable performance even with wet or oily fingers—ideal for typing or gaming in less-than-perfect conditions. Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex platform is paired with up to 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM, and the company touts up to 120 fps gaming performance on appropriate titles.
Battery and Charging
Powering all this is OnePlus’s largest battery to date, at 7,100 mAh (for the India version; note that some global variants use a reduced 5,200 mAh pack). It charges via 80W SuperVOOC, with “bypass charging” technology that allows direct power from the charger, reducing heat and preserving battery health during intense use.
Cameras
A 50 MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS and an 8 MP ultrawide camera anchor the photography, while the 16 MP front shooter handles selfies, the rear supports 4K60fps video, and the front caps at 1080p.
OS support
Software includes OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, with a strong commitment: 6 years of software updates and 4 years of sustained battery health. AI tools like AI Writer, AI Perfect Shot, and AI Unblur further complement everyday workflows.
Pricing and Availability
Launched on July 8 2025, in India, pricing starts at ₹24,999 for 8 GB/128 GB, with options up to 12 GB/256 GB priced at ₹28,999. Sales began on July 12 through OnePlus’s website, Amazon, Flipkart, and select offline retailers. This smartphone will be available soon on the Amazon US store.
