The AAEON GENESYSM-MTH6 is a small and mighty industrial computer system created with the purpose of tackling challenging edge computing, artificial intelligence, and industrial computer automation. With its versatile 3.5-inch SubCompact form factor, it is both high-performance and flexible in connectivity and expansion capabilities, which is why it is suited to the smart manufacturing, surveillance, transportation, and IoT world.

In essence, the GENESYSM-MTH6 uses the latest set of Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 1). The most effective processors in the market are the Intel Core ultra 7 and ultra 5 processors with a speed ranging between 4.8 GHz, 16 cores, and 22 threads. This processing power is combined with the power to support 96 GB of DDR5 memory, enabling the system to bear the complex AI inference and machine learning workloads, as well as the real-time data analytics with performance.

Previously, we have covered some of AAEON’s Intel Core Ultra-powered SBCs, including the HPC-ARHm, the PICO-ARU4, the GENE-ARH6, and others. Feel free to check these out for you better reference.

The abundant range of expansion and I/O options deserves mention among the outstanding capabilities of this system. The GENESYSM-MTH6 has three high-speed Ethernet ports (two Ethernet performance of 2.5 GbE and one of 1 GbE), several USB connectors (USB 3.2 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 1), several serial COM ports with RS-232/422/485 connections, and an 8-bit GPIO to industrial control signals. Storage and acceleration are both served with various M.2 slots: three M.2 2280 M-Key locations, one M.2 3052 B-Key location (to accommodate 5G modules), and one M.2 2230 E-Key location (to accommodate Wi-Fi 6E modules, etc.).

The system also offers both a high-quality display support, including HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.0, which can drive high-resolution displays. This makes it suitable for digital signage or HMI (Human–Machine Interface) applications where graphical output is required. TPM 2.0 has internal security on the hardware level and has a wide power input span of 9 V to 36 V with ERP support, which makes it implementable on a variety of power operating factories. Its working range of -10 °C to 50 °C also adds to its ability to withstand the harder conditions.

industrial computer

AAEON has the GENESYSM-MTH6, which can run Windows 10/11 and Ubuntu Linux and is able to be flexible to industrial and edge-AI applications. It uses Intel Core Ultra processors and has standard Intel drivers, graphics support capabilities and AI acceleration capabilities, which make it fit well in stable and long-lasting embedded applications. Check out the product page for more information.

The GENESYSM-MTH6 industrial computer is not sold as a standard retail product and is typically available through authorised distributors. Pricing is not publicly fixed and depends on processor configuration and volume, but similar Intel Core Ultra industrial systems are generally priced in the upper-hundreds to low-thousands USD range. Availability is usually on request, with lead times common for industrial deployments.
