The AAEON HPC-ARHm is a compact yet powerful computer-on-module (CoM) designed for high-end Edge AI and embedded applications. It uses the COM-HPC R1.2 Mini form factor, measuring just 95 × 70 mm, which means it’s small in size but big on performance.
We have previously covered some AAEON’s products, including the PICO-ARU4, the GENE-ARH6, the Intelli i14 Edge, and others. Feel free to check these out for your reference.
Inside this little module, you’ll find either a Series 1 or Series 2 Intel Core Ultra Processor (formerly codenamed Meteor Lake or Arrow Lake) running at up to 28 W power. It has a maximum onboard LPDDR5x memory of up to 64 GB and a maximum NVMe storage of up to 256 GB soldered on the module.

To the HPC-ARHm, I/O and expansion offer a wide selection: two 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports, four USB-3.2 (10Gb/s) ports, eight USB-2.0 ports, display (up to 4K) (two DDI ports, DP/HDMI and one eDP) ports. On the expansion side, it offers a PCIe Gen 4 x8 slot, a PCIe Gen 3 x4 slot (which can also be used as two SATA interfaces via BIOS/BOM setting) and four PCIe Gen 3 x1 lanes.
What this all means is that the HPC-ARHm is built for demanding use-cases: edge AI, robotics, medical imaging, IC testing equipment, and similar industrial embedded systems. Because of its small form and high I/O/compute power combination, you can embed it in compact systems that still need serious performance. The module comes with features like dTPM/fTPM for security, Wake-on-LAN, a watchdog timer, and a wide storage/memory configuration.

The HPC-ARHm supports Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24.04, with official drivers, firmware, and BIOS tools available through AAEON’s Embedded Software and BIOS Services portals. It uses an AMI UEFI BIOS and supports features like Wake-on-LAN and watchdog timer, making it easy to integrate into industrial and edge-AI systems.
As of now, the AAEON HPC-ARHm is currently in mass production, but there is no fixed public retail price stated on the official website. For ordering or pricing information, you’ll need to contact AAEON or their sales representative directly through the “Ordering Information” section.
