Connect Tech has introduced the Gauntlet Carrier Board designed for NVIDIA’s latest Jetson Thor (Jetson T5000) module, bringing ruggedised, production-ready hardware for robotics, AI, and autonomous systems at the edge.

Specification and features:

For vision workloads, the board supports a wide range of camera interfaces through a 16-lane MIPI expansion connector, compatible with GMSL3, GMSL2, FPD-Link III, SDI, and MIPI CSI-2 sensors. Dual M.2 Key M NVMe slots (PCIe Gen3 x4 and x2) handle storage and expansion, along with additional M.2 Key E (WiFi/BT) and M.2 Key B (LTE/5G with SIM slot) for wireless connectivity. Other I/O options include USB 3.2 (Type-C, OTG), RS232/422/485, I2C, SPI, GPIO, and four CAN 2.0b ports.

Two 10GbE and two 1GbE ports are included among the networking options, enabling high-speed data transfer for demanding applications. Designed for harsh environments, the carrier operates from -40°C to +85°C and supports wide 30V to 60V DC input power, making it suitable for field deployment in industrial and autonomous platforms. With its combination of ultra-fast networking, sensor flexibility, and rugged design, Connect Tech’s Gauntlet aims to accelerate the adoption of NVIDIA’s Blackwell GPU-powered Jetson Thor in edge AI and robotics applications.
