The ThinkNode-M3 LoRaWAN Tracker from Elecrow is a small but high-performance positioning tracker designed for both indoor and outdoor tracking needs. It uses advanced wireless technologies such as GPS, BLE, also known as Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, and LoRaWAN to deliver seamless location awareness in an environment with or without any cellular consistency.

The core of the device is a sensitive GNSS receiver that tracks various systems of satellites like GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, or BDS to analyse the position in an outdoor location, and BLE and Wi-Fi contribute to the improvement of the accuracy of indoor tracking. This suits the ThinkNode-M3 for logistics, asset tracking, personal safety, and outdoor activities (hiking or field operations).

M3 is easy to carry, easy to secure and light, fitting well on the vehicle, on the person or hidden in the equipment or cargo. It is equipped with helpful environmental sensors to control temperature and humidity, as well as moving conditions, to provide a more complete picture of what happens with an asset at the current moment. The tracker also includes an emergency alert in the form of a one-touch button so as to transmit distress alerts when the need arises.

Having a magnetic charge, the device will be able to last about 18 hours on a single charge and with its IP66 rating, the device will be able to withstand extreme conditions on its durability. Its capacity to deliver location and sensor information in a regular temporal fashion and its failure to depend on cellular networks cause it to be suitable within the industrial context, warehouses, hospitals, occasions, and outdoor adventure applications.

Previously, we have covered some of Elecrow’s products, including the AI Starter Kit for Jetson Orin Nano, the CrowPanel Advanced, and the Meshtastic BASE board system. Feel free to check these out for your reference.

Currently, thinkNode-M3 LoRaWAN Tracker costs about $39.90 in the Elecrow online store, Muzi Works and Pi-Shop, and this is relatively cheap when it comes to indoor and outdoor tracking applications. When the listing was made, the device was in stock on Elecrow, although there may not be many units available, and some third-party shops indicate that it is out of stock or out of availability, depending on the region.
