The PC is an industrial PC housed in a sturdy metal casing with the approximate dimensions being 225 x 135 x 83 mm, and is designed to work within a large temperature span of -25 °C to +85 °C, and thus makes it quite convenient in industries and for use in extreme environments.

Connectivity is a standout feature of the DSBOX-THRMAX. The system offers a rich set of I/O options, including Gigabit Ethernet, QSFP28 (providing four 25 GbE channels), USB 3.2 Type-C ports, CAN, RS-232/422/485, and digital I/O for integration with legacy industrial networks and sensors. Supports the Implementation of optional support of up to 8x GMSL2 high-speed camera links, increasing its applications to advanced vision systems and autonomous navigation.

The PC has a dual HDMI 2.1 and DP1.4a output, driving both the visual output and real-time monitoring display to enable support of multiple displays with high-resolution output directly off the unit. The system has a built-in thermal monitoring to check the health of the system and optimality during excessive workloads.

Running Ubuntu Linux 24.04 with support for NVIDIA JetPack 7.0, the DSBOX-THRMAX provides developers with a familiar, robust software environment for deploying AI applications, robotics software stacks, and custom edge solutions.

The NVIDIA Jetson Thor Industrial Box PC (DSBOX-THRMAX) costs between approximately €6,000 and €7,400, based on price options available (which include increasing the size of the SSDs and additional wireless connectivity). The availability is made-to-order, the lead time is 4–6 weeks on average, and not all configurations will be in significant stock; thus, one may want to clarify final pricing and delivery terms with Forecr before ordering.
