OnLogic has introduced the CL260, an ultra-small industrial pc designed for situations where space is tight but performance and durability are still critical compared to the Karbon 521. Built for edge computing, IoT deployments and automation applications, it’s part of OnLogic’s CL200 series of ultra-small form-factor fanless systems.
Measuring just 115 × 82 × 30 mm, the CL260 packs in a lot of features while remaining extremely compact. It uses Intel’s N-Series low-power processors (either the N150 or N250) with 4 cores and 4 threads, enabling capable performance in a tiny chassis. Memory is fixed at 8 GB of LPDDR5 (4800 MT/s), and storage is via an M.2 2280 slot (PCIe Gen3 x2 or SATA) plus an M.2 2230 E-Key for wireless expansion.
The front of the CL260 offers dual USB-C ports (each supporting DisplayPort 1.4 via Alt-Mode and 5 V/3 A power output) plus four USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, and two 1 GbE LAN ports. On the rear/side, you’ll find RS-232/422/485 serial support (terminal block), power input via 12-24 V DC (3-pin terminal block), and optional PoE via splitter. The chassis is fanless and supports DIN-rail or VESA mounting, making it ideal for cabinets, machines or wall-mount installations.
This machine is built for real-world industrial conditions: it operates from 0 °C to 50 °C ambient (with the terminal block power input) and uses a robust enclosure with certifications for safety and EMC. Security features include a TPM 2.0 onboard and a watchdog timer for system health. The BIOS manual makes clear that OnLogic expects this device to run reliably in embedded/industrial deployments.
In many industrial or IoT use-cases, computing power is moving from a central server room out to the “edge”, near sensors, machines, cameras or networks. The CL260 addresses that by offering full PC-class features in a tiny, mountable box that can live inside a control cabinet or behind a machine panel. The dual LAN, dual display USB-C, serial ports and rugged mounting options give it real flexibility.
Software-wise, the OnLogic CL260 can be made to support Windows 10 IoT, Windows 11 Pro, and several popular Linux systems, such as Ubuntu and Debian, which can easily be integrated into most industrial and IoT systems. It is compatible with edge-computing technologies, containerised applications and popular automation systems, and embedded components (TPM 2.0) and watchdog timer can assure long-term stability and security.
The OnLogic CL260 currently costs the equivalent of approximately $431 in the US market, though it can currently be found both directly on the OnLogic site, and its presence depends on the regional market. To buyers in India unit can be imported, and this may raise the ultimate price through shipping, customs taxes and GST to the approximate amount of ₹38,000 to 45,000, depending on the importer and mode of delivery. It is sold online, although it is listed as out of stock in some distributors, which claim it is under stock; therefore, there are differences in the stocks between markets.
