Openterface KVM-GO USB KVM

The Openterface KVM-GO is an innovative, ultra-compact KVM-over-USB device designed by TechxArtisan and currently live on Crowd Supply. It builds on the success of the popular Openterface Mini-KVM and takes portability and convenience to the next level by fitting on your keychain while eliminating the need for bulky video cables.

Unlike traditional KVM solutions that require separate video cables, the KVM-GO features built-in video connectors, available in HDMI, DisplayPort, or VGA versions, so you can plug it directly into the target device. This is perfect in data centres, remote server rooms, embedded systems, and headless systems, where the speed of access and the minimum of equipment are very important. It is completely different from the Luckfox PicoKVM Base, which we have written about previously.

Openterface KVM-GO USB KVM Specifications:

One of the standout upgrades in the KVM-GO is its enhanced video performance, with support for resolutions up to 4K @ 60 Hz (experimental) and a default stable output of 1080p @ 60 Hz, a significant improvement over the Mini-KVM’s 1080p @ 30 Hz. The device also includes a microSD card slot, enabling easy file transfers between host and target and even burning bootable OS images, all in a tiny, pocket-friendly form factor.

KVM-GO does not require any network or software installation in the target machine. It can be installed with a plug-and-play, so you can immediately begin taking control of and troubleshooting systems, even directly through Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPadOS or even in a web browser.

Openterface KVM-GO USB KVM inside the box

Openterface KVM-GO will be a hit among IT professionals and even technology enthusiasts as they can use it with open-source hardware and software, text transfer, and audio passthrough, and have host-wide support. You can also check the setup guide and GitHub repository for more information.

The Openterface KVM-GO is available via Crowd Supply in HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA toolkit variants, each priced at $109, while a bundle including all three versions costs $299 (shipping extra). The campaign is currently open for orders, with estimated shipping starting around April–May 2026, depending on the selected video interface, as the product moves through production by TechxArtisan.
