POCO unleashes the POCO M7 PLUS 5G, a bold entry into India’s budget-friendly 5G arena. The brand confirms the launch on August 13, 2025 at 12 pm IST, and sets a sub-₹15,000 price target.

The hype builds around its massive 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, making the phone one of the thinnest in its class. Reverse-charging capability adds more flexibility, letting users charge other devices directly from the phone.

POCO M7 PLUS 5G Specifications:

The POCO M7 PLUS 5G comes with a 6.9-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display offering a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio for smooth visuals. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 (6 nm) chipset paired with an octa-core CPU (2×2.3 GHz Cortex-A78 + 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) and Adreno 619 GPU. The phone includes 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage with no card slot. Its dual rear camera setup features a 50 MP main sensor with PDAF, accompanied by an additional unspecified camera, while the 8 MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, NFC (market-dependent), infrared port, and FM radio. The device also carries IP64 dust and water resistance, Hi-Res audio support, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Powering it is a 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 33 W wired charging, ensuring extended usage. Navigation features include GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BDS support.

Reports suggest POCO will launch the device with Android 15 paired with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 interface. This software combo brings updated features, smoother navigation, and a refreshed UI experience.
