The Ugoos AM9 is a next-generation Android TV box powered by the efficient Amlogic S905X5 System-on-Chip (SoC), fabricated using a 6 nm process. It has a quad-core ARMv9 Cortex-A510 processor, a Mali-G310 graphics enhancer GPU, and an integrated Neural Network Accelerator (NNA) providing up to 4 TOPS, allowing artificial intelligence features like AI Super-Resolution, which aims to upscale and sharpen video material.

Operating on Android 14, this device maintains Ugoos’ hallmark features like OTA firmware updates, built-in Samba server for local network file sharing, NFS and CIFS clients, advanced superuser/root options (via Magisk), smartphone remote control via Ugoos apps, dynamic USB controls, HDMI-CEC support, and robust controller and power settings—all accessible through the Ugoos settings interface.
